BASKETBALL: Meridian Basketball Camp

Two youth basketball camps are being held in June and are open to area boys and girls entering grades 1-5. Both sessions are co-ed and are being held at the Meridian High School.
Session I: June 7-11
Session II: June 14-18

FOOTBALL: Tiny Tykes Flag Football

Meridian students (girl's too) ages 5-8 interested in playing flag football through the Midland Community Center in the fall should contact Carrie Barriger at 687-6110 for information. As in the past, there will likely be a Meridian team organized to play in the fall league.
SOCCER: Summer Soccer Camps

Several soccer camps are being held this summer by the Midland Soccer Club. The 2010 recreational summer camp brochure has been posted on this site and runs from August 9-12. Sign up now!
SOCCER: Fall Recreational League Registration
Player registration for the 2010 Fall Midland Soccer Club soccer leagues is being held from June 1 - August 9th. Registration can be done on the Midland Soccer Club website. Player registration guidelines are posted on this site.
BASEBALL: Memorial Day Parade

Any SYL players who want to march in the Memorial Day parade need to assemble at the church at 12:30 on Monday afternoon.
FOOTBALL: MAYFL Player Sign-Up Dates

Player Registrations begin in July at the Midland Mall:
* Thursday, July 8, 6-8 pm
* Wednesday, July 14, 6-8 pm
* Tuesday, July 20, 6-8 pm
Late registrations will be held at the MAYFL equipment shed on Sunday, July 25 and Sunday, August 1 at 6 pm.
Late fees apply; team assignment will be on a space-available basis.
Players age determined as of September 1, 2010.
Preps -
Ages 8 & 9
Juniors -
Age 10 (65-150lbs)
Age 11 (76-115lbs)
Age 12 (65-95lbs)

BASKETBALL: MYBA Being Formed

A new youth sports organization (Meridian Youth Basketball Association - MYBA) in Sanford is being formed to help provide parents/coaches more organized basketball opportunities for youth grades K-6 currently attending Meridian public schools. Stay tuned.
