Posting Rules & Guidelines
I. PURPOSE
The purpose of sanfordyouthsports.com is to provide parents of children living in and near the Sanford, MI area with information related to local sporting and athletic opportunities. These sporting-related activities shall be limited to Midland County.
The only exception will be if the only sporting activity of its kind is not offered within Midland County. In such cases, events/organizations may be listed on sanfordyouthsports.com but will be limited to the sole organization/business that is closest in proximity to Sanford, MI.
The intent of sanfordyouthsports.com is not to replace any website currently managed by a non-profit or for-profit sports related youth organization. The purpose of sanfordyouthsports.com is to provide a forum for parents to easily find information to help manage their children's participation in sporting and athletic activities.
Sanfordyouthsports.com is managed strictly by volunteers in the Sanford community. None of the volunteers have a financial interest in any for-profit organization/business listed on sanfordyouthsports.com. In addition, sanfordyouthsports.com is paid for by money donated by such volunteers.
We aim to stay up-to-date on youth sporting events in Midland County but we heavily depend on youth organizers, coaches and parents to help by notifying us of news worthy information. As such, the volunteers managing this website shall not be held liable for inaccurate information found on the sanfordyouthsports.com.
No monies/gifts will be accepted by volunteers that help to manage the content on sanfordyouthsports.com.
II. PROHIBITED MATERIAL
Content on this website will be appropriate for people of all ages. We will not post any material or link websites that is not rated "G".
This is not an advertising forum for local businesses. We will not post any material or link websites where the principle purpose is anything other than providing children with an opportunity to participate in some form of sporting and/or athletic activity.
We will not post information on sanfordyouthsports.com that is limited to individual teams within an organized league. The intent of sanfordyouthsports.com is not to help you manage your team's communications.
III. POSTING GUIDELINES
To submit an article to post on sanfordyouthsports.com, please click on the "Submit Information to Post" icon on the homepage. Fill out all information required in the form. To send attachements (i.e. .pdf), please email us directly at information_sanfordyouthsports.com
Any youth organizer, coach and/or parent that submits information to be posted on sanfordyouthsports.com must attach a valid email address. We may need to contact you if the information submitted for posting is not clear.
We will attempt to post information submitted via email as quickly as possible. However, we cannot guarantee timeliness of posting information. As such, you should not submit information that is time sensitive (i.e. inclement weather information).
The site administrator has the final decision making authority on whether or not material submitted to be posted on this website meets the criteria required for posting.
